Privacy, in plain words.

Browsing the site

No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Ordinary pages set no cookies. Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting, as every web server does.

Your browser may store a small offline copy of pages (a service worker cache) so the site loads quickly. It holds no personal data and you can clear it from your browser settings.

The project form

If you send us a brief, we store what you entered: your answers about the project, your name, email and, if you chose to give them, your company, role, website and phone number. We also store the time, the page you came from, your browser's user-agent string and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash lets us limit spam without keeping the address itself.

We use this for one purpose: to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the project. We do not sell it, share it for marketing or add you to a mailing list.

The brief is stored in a database on our web host and a copy is emailed to the studio. Only Yakooha team members with an account can see it.

On your device

While you fill in a form, your answers are saved in your own browser (local or session storage) so a refresh does not lose them. That draft never leaves your device until you press send, and it is deleted when you do. The contact page, and the short pop-up form once you open it, set one session cookie, used only to protect the form against forged submissions. It expires when you close the browser.

The live product demos keep their sample data in your browser's local storage. Nothing you type into a demo is sent to us.

How long, and your choices

We keep briefs for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you. Write to studio@yakooha.com and we will do it.
